Ouessant Sheep for Sale
Our small tame Ouessant sheep from the French Channel Islands make ideal starter flocks for smallholders and permaculture homesteads. This smallest of sheep breeds is very hardy and valued for both meat and wool. Our closed flock originally established by Val Grainger has brought together several good French bloodlines with others selected for their wool quality.
Our top ram Merinos des Lutins du Montana was the French Champion in 2008.
We keep a core of top quality breeding ewes producing about 12 lambs each year. Most ram lambs we sell as wethers , but we select a few to sell for breeding stock.
